Egyptian corrugated packaging manufacturer exhibits at Sudan’s annual printing tradeshow.

Unipak Nile Ltd. joined over 80 printing and packaging manufacturers and suppliers at the second annual Techno Print Sudan 2007 in Khartoum from 27-30 November 2007.

Representing Unipak Nile were Medhat Shalaby, Export Manager for Arab & African Countries and Ahmed Al-Badri, National Sales Manager.

The gentlemen met current Sudanese customers at the show, including some of the nation’s largest food manufacturers and beverage bottling plants. In addition, Unipak Nile introduced its range of corrugated cartons, boxes, trays, and point-of-purchase displays to new companies.

Sudan hosts a large market for printed packaging materials and represents a main gateway to other African countries: Egypt to the north, Eritrea and Ethiopia to the east, Kenya and Uganda to the southeast, Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic to the southwest, Chad to the west, and Libya to the northwest.

Techno Print Sudan exhibition was inaugurated by Sudanese Minister of Industry, Dr. Galal Yyosif Al Degair, and Egyptian ambassador to Sudan, Mr. Mohamed Abdul-Muniem Al-Shazali.

Unipak Nile also exhibited in Techno Print Egypt 2007 earlier this year.
