Students from a local technical college visit the Zouk-based flexible packaging plant.

As part of its continuous outreach into the community, Masterpak welcomed students from Collège Central Jounieh Technical School on 21 February 2008.

Ms. Siham Daou, Director of the Technical Studies, accompanied another teacher and 17 students. The visit included a one-hour presentation about Masterpak’s activities and products and a 30-minute tour of the PE film manufacturing plant. The visit culminated in a reception in Masterpak cafeteria.

Maroun Aoun, Production Manager, organized the student visit and, along with Elie Khalifeh, introduced the group to the plant and its local industrial activities.

“I always enjoy communicating with the younger generation and contributing to their career orientation," said Aoun. "This visit allowed them to gain practical knowledge about an industrial work environment and to translate theory into practice.”

Ms. Daou, on behalf of her school, praised Masterpak in a letter thereafter:

“We had the honor to visit your manufacturing plant. Our students benefited greatly from the competent people who assisted us, especially Maroun Aoun and Elie Khalifeh. We also thank you for your warm welcome and the attention you showed us.”

Masterpak's trademark as an innovator of organizational culture grows with such an event and, with it, the reinforcement of INDEVCO Group’s commitment the community.
