Over 3000 people joined the annual 'Walk with Al Youbouh' to raise awareness for and support adults with mental disabilities in Lebanon.

INDEVCO Group members joined donors, schools, clubs, and members of the community for a 5-kilometer walk through the Old Souk of Jounieh, Lebanon on Sunday, 16 May.

Al Younbouh Rehabilitation Center is a non-residential center for adults with special needs in Haret Sakher, a suburb of Jounieh. Al Younbouh’s mission is to improve the quality of life of its members and to ensure their dignified integration into the community.

The center's
Women's Voluntary Committee organized the walk for the seventh consecutive year, again engaging Tony Baroud, a former member of the Lebanese national basketball team and now popular TV personality, as master of ceremonies.

Throughout the walk, the crowd stopped for a number of programmed events: a synchronized dance performed by Al Younbouh young adults at Jounieh municipality; songs by Lebanese singer, Joseph Attieh; and an olive tree planting in the Jounieh municipality garden next to trees from previous walks.
