North African Converters: A Target for Semi-Finished Films

Saudi composite film manufacturer offers select semi-finished laminates to converters in Tunisia.

Napco Composite Packaging Technology Ltd. (COMPACT) is supplying coated aluminium films of various thicknesses to Tunisian packaging converters through its sales office, MASTERPAK North Africa Ltd.

MASTERPAK North Africa first entered the Tunisian market in December 2007 and began supplying COMPACT cheese wrap for the popular President cheese brand. Next came Tunisian confectionary manufacturer, Confiserie Triki-Le Moulin, to which COMPACT supplied chewing gum inner wrapper.

Today, MASTERPAK North Africa promotes the range of paper and plastic flexbile packaging products produced by Napco affiliates in Saudi Arabia.

For COMPACT, the sales office not only sells composite films to end manufacturers but also semi-finished laminates to converters:

End use: packaging for powder products, such as instant coffee powder & milk powder

ALU 20 / HSL
Hard tempered foil: PVC & PVDC coatings
End use: pharmaceutical industry for blister packaging

ALU 38 / HSL
Heat seal lacquer application with polystyrene / PVC & PP applications
End use: dairy industry for yogurt cups or industries using containers with die-cut peel lids or peelable lidding in reels

ALU 50 / PE
PE laminate
End use: Bottling & capping industries for die-cut peel lids or peelable lidding in reels
