Early Detection Can Save Your Life
As early detection is the only prevention, Fam advocates to Saudi Arabian women to take proper steps to catch irregularities at earliest stage.
Self-test, mammography and 3D echography are three methods to detect breast cancer at early stages. Although rare, women of younger ages (under 40 years of age) and men may also develop breast cancer.
Eating healthy, exercising regularly, and avoiding hormone pills and injections are other ways to decrease vulnerability to breast cancer .
However, breast cancer arises from a genetic mutation or abnormality in the gene that regulates cell growth and health. Thus healthy people can be affected too! Breast cancer is not, however, only a genetically inherited disease.
Breastcancer.org states that only 5-10% of cancers are derived from an inherited genetic pre-disposition.
We are all vulnerable to this disease, thus early detection is key to survival!
