In October 2010, Napco Modern Plastics Products Company – Sack Division initiated the production of shrink and stretch hood films on a new 5-layer co-extrusion machine.

Napco Modern Plastics Products Company - Sack Division located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia produces polyethylene (PE) based films, bags and sacks for the agricultural, chemical, construction, and petrochemical industries. The PE film manufacturer produces shrink film for the chemical industry, as well as both shrink and stretch hood film for the petrochemical industries.

During September 2010, the PE manufacturer put into motion the machine-line installation phase. The new 5-layer co-extrusion line successfully began production, allowing Napco Modern Plastic Products Company - Sack Division to align with the latest shrink hood structure blending technology as well as adapt to the increasing demand for stretch hood films.

The new line enables Napco Modern Plastic Products Company - Sack Division to improve production, increase output capacity and decrease the operational manpower required. It further facilitates the production of a wider product with more thickness control.
