Unipak Nile Achieves FEFCO GMP Certification

Unipak Nile acquires ‘FEFCO GMP Certification for Solid Board’ after passing TUV Nord audit.

Unipak Nile, corrugated packaging manufacturer in Cairo, passed the FEFCO GMP certification audit conducted by certification body, TUV Nord, on 23 and 24 November 2010. The 2- day audit took place at Unipak Nile plant in 6th of October City, Egypt.

The European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO), an information and competence center, aids decision-makers and employees of the corrugated industry at all levels by offering know-how and support.

Dr. Mohammady Halawa, TUV NORD Auditor, states,

The FEFCO GMP certification signifies that Unipak Nile’s operations and manufacturing processes are organized, run smoothly, and meet good manufacturing pratice (GMP) standards.

Engineer Ahmed Fouad Hossam El Din, Unipak Nile Senior Production Team Leader, explained,

“One of our (Unipak Nile’s) main objectives is to optimize our management systems by making them compliant to several international standards. This further improves our quality, processes efficiency, and work environment to constantly ensure customer and employee satisfaction”
