Unipak Innovative Gift for Disabled Children: A Bench, a Toy Box, & an Idea

In an effort to motivate society to donate to SESOBEL’s mission, Unipak designed an inventive multiple-use bench to be donated to disabled children.

In line with mother company’s community-centered mission, Lebanon-based Unipak structural designers and INDEVCO Paper Containers Division marketers collaborated to come up with a sustainable, fun, and useful gift for the children of SESOBEL. SESOBEL, a nonprofit organization (NGO), helps disabled children and their families in Lebanon.

Unipak’s eco-friendly bench is made from double-wall recycled corrugated boards and can be easily assembled in 6 steps, similar to a 3D jigsaw puzzle.  The corrugated packaging manufacturer’s designers integrated a storage area into the bench as a toy box for children.

“Join Unipak’s efforts and help donate a bench with one-click.”

Interested parties can visit and simply click on the header to contribute in the bench donation. Unipak is donating 1 bench to SESOBEL for every fifty clicks from 28 August – 30 October 2011.

Marwan Diab, Unipak General Manager, states,

“At Unipak we believe in doing well by doing good. Our social obligation must surpass merely supporting worthy causes, but also include anything that impacts people and the quality of their lives.

With a simple click of a button, you can help donate a corrugated bench to SESOBEL’s children and contribute to making a difference in the lives of disabled children in our community.”

Unipak, located in Halat, Lebanon, manufactures corrugated retail ready packaging, shelf ready packaging, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, promotional cartons, and corrugated boxes.

Unipak is a member of INDEVCO Paper Containers, a division of INDEVCO Group.
